Our front counter and phone staff can answer many of your general questions.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed weekends and statutory holidays.

Drop-in Advising

Monday – Thursday | 1:00–4:00 pm

Virtual Line: Rather than standing in line, you now join the queue from your phone or at the kiosk at the Arts Advising entrance. Text “UBC” to 604-229-4098 and follow the prompts. An approximate wait time will be given. The virtual line opens 15 min before drop-in hours and closes when the day’s appointment capacity is reached.

December Drop-in Advising Hours

During the month of December, drop-in advising is available on the following dates and times:

  • December 17–20 | 1:00–4:00 pm (no advising on Friday, December 21)
January Drop-in Advising Hours

During the Term 2 Add/Drop period, drop-in advising is available on the following dates and times:

  • Add/Drop period
    January 2 – 14 | 
    10:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
  • After January 15
    1:00pm – 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
