Arts Co-op Education Program

Co-op allows you to alternate your school terms with paid, challenging, rewarding, full-time work experience and is perfect for you if you want to:

  • Explore prospective job opportunities that may be available and of interest to you after graduation.
  • Get an edge in the job market by gaining valuable work experience and contacts.
  • Build exceptional work experience and job contacts before you graduate.
  • Apply your classroom learning to the real world, and what you learned in the real world back to the classroom.
  • Develop a professional and experienced skill set to best promote yourself to employers – through effective resumes, cover letters, portfolios, and interviews.
  • Finance your education. While money is not the focus of the program, working in a full-time paid position certainly helps. An average Arts Co-op wage is $12-16 per hour, depending on the employment sector.
