Some seats in courses may be reserved for students in particular programs or year levels. If you’re not sure if you might be included in that restriction, try to register in the course.
Many courses have restricted seats (reserved) and general seats (anyone can register in a general seat).
Registering in Graduate level courses as an undergraduate
Students must have completed at least 75% (normally equivalent to 36 credits) of the 300 and 400 level courses required for their bachelor degree, and must have a minimum overall average of 76% (B+) in their completed 300 and 400 level courses.
Students must have the academic preparation to complete the graduate course and must have completed any necessary course pre-requisites.
To gain entrance, students must submit a “Enrolment of Undergraduate Students in Graduate Courses” form with permission from the course instructor, the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Arts Academic Advising services.
